Flexibility & Delivery Capability
1. How long does it take to start production once approval has been given?
Currently, it takes around 12–16 weeks, depending on the product. This primarily depends on the availability of materials and the complexity of the project. In some cases, however, we can respond more quickly. Please ask us about the current production lead time for your products.
2. How quickly can initial samples be provided?
The production of initial samples usually takes between two and six weeks. This depends on the complexity of the project, the availability of raw materials and packaging, and whether we can use existing formulations or need to develop new ones.
3. What is the timeline for a specific project?
This varies depending on the product and the requirements of the various industries.
- Technical products can usually be filled more quickly.
- For cosmetic products, project planning takes into account issues such as safety assessment, PID and stability and microbiological tests.
- Storage tests are crucial for the filling of foods.
- For medical devices, technical documentation is particularly important.
In practice, material availability and the necessary storage tests to determine shelf life are the biggest time factors. Please contact your account manager for further details.
4. Can Aerochemica handle large-scale production runs?
Yes, we usually produce large batches for well-established companies.
5. What are the realistic minimum quantities?
- The typical lower limit is around 5,000 units. While this is relatively flexible by industry standards, many start-ups would consider it to be mid-range.
- Smaller quantities for test products or niche markets are possible on a case-by-case basis, but this depends heavily on the product and setup.
Please ask us about the options.
