the demand for the highest levels of water and dirt repellence remains high. Aerochemica presents a new, PFAS-
and silicone-free, solvent-based formulation for impregnation which proves in recognised tests that higher
environmental friendliness can be combined with high product performance.

Proven performance: A comparison was made with a fluorinated reference system.
The formulation’s performance was tested under standardised conditions using the AATCC 22:2021 spray
test/water repellence method and the EN 4920 method. Aerochemica’s PFAS-free impregnation and a fluorinated
reference product were applied to different fabric types and compared in the tests. Water repellence was
assessed according to the defined test conditions.

The PFAS-free formulation demonstrates comparable water repellence to fluorinated systems across multiple
fabric types.
